What to Expect During a Rejuran Treatment

Step 1: Personalised Consultation

Before any Rejuran treatment begins, you will attend a consultation with a qualified practitioner. This session includes:

  • A full skin and health assessment

  • Discussion of your goals and concerns

  • Review of your medical history and any previous treatments

  • Explanation of potential risks, side effects and limitations

If Rejuran is deemed suitable, a personalised treatment plan will be created for you.

Step 2: Preparing for Treatment

On the day of your appointment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and a strong compounded topical numbing cream is applied to minimise discomfort. The under-eye area is very sensitive, so this step is important to ensure a comfortable experience.

Step 3: Microinjection Technique

Rejuran is administered through a series of tiny injections using a very fine needle. The product is placed just beneath the surface of the skin in small amounts. This technique may result in visible raised bumps (called blebs) which are temporary and typically subside within one to three days.

For treatments near the eyes, precise technique and placement are essential. The practitioner will carefully avoid high-risk zones and adjust the injection depth based on your skin type.

Step 4: Immediate Post-Treatment Care

Immediately after you will be given a soothing recovery face-mask and put under LED to optimise the recovery process.

After the procedure, you may experience:

  • Mild swelling or redness

  • Sensitivity or tightness

  • Small visible bumps at injection points

These are expected and typically resolve without intervention. You will be provided with post-care instructions which may include avoiding exercise, makeup and active skin care products for 24 to 48 hours.

Step 5: Recovery and Follow-Up

While the initial side effects tend to resolve within a few days, skin improvement develops gradually over several weeks. Most patients opt for a series of 3 treatments spaced four weeks apart to achieve optimal results.

Setting Realistic Expectations

It is important to understand that Rejuran offers subtle, gradual enhancement. It does not act as a filler, will not dramatically alter appearance and is not suitable for every concern. Results vary between individuals and depend on multiple factors including age, skin condition and overall health.

At TT Aesthetics, we focus on patient education and informed decision-making. Every step of your Rejuran journey is supported with professional care and personalised guidance.
